Treating your body not just the symptoms

 PRACTICE
PHILOSOPHY

Alicia Poole osteopath Market Bosworth Hinckly Nuneaton

Osteopathy is a dedicated healthcare profession that focuses on the health of the musculoskeletal system to diagnose, treat, and help patients manage a wide range of conditions. Osteopathy is recognised as an Allied Health Profession (AHP) meaning Osteopaths work to the same high standards as other frontline healthcare professionals, such as Physiotherapists and Paramedics.

All Osteopaths must be registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC). This ensures that your practitioner is fully qualified, insured, and committed to a strict code of professional conduct and continuous development.

Alicia Poole is the principal osteopath at TheBodyWorks Osteopathy. The core principle of the clinic is that wellbeing is dependent on how you, as an individual, are able to function and adapt to changes in physical capability and your environment. Osteopaths are often described as treating the individual rather than the condition, when treating a patient we adopt a biopsychosocial approach, considering biological, psychological and social factors, instead of viewing a symptom or injury in isolation.

HOW WE CAN HELP

How TheBodyWorks Osteopathy
can help you?

Effective treatment begins with an effective diagnosis. TheBodyWorks Osteopathy treats you as an individual, and will provide a specific treatment plan tailored to your unique needs. You may be suffering with knee pain, however looking at the whole body and assessing the effect on the hip and spine could be the key to your improvement.

We pride ourselves on an evidence-based approach to treatment in the clinic by staying at the forefront of medical research to ensure our methods are modern and effective. Treatment is intended to aid the body's own healing systems and may include physical manipulation, stretching and massage to improve joint mobility, relieve muscle tension and improve blood and nerve supply. To ensure a successful outcome, we focus on manageable recovery programmes to fit seamlessly into your life to enhance and maintain your own health and wellbeing.
